Rust-Oleum Elastofill Acrylic Jointing Compound is available in a white or clear in 310ml tubes.
Rust-Oleum Elastofill Acrylic Jointing Compound forms part of Promain's Instant Repair Paint range. Although Elastofill is frame sealer not a paint, it works in the same way to repair cracks, window and door frames as well as joints on roofs and similar substrates.
Grind out fine cracks in V-shape till about 0.5 cm wide; if depth > 1/2 x width, apply a back filling. The crack edges must be primed with Rust-Oleum Parafix, Rust-Oleum Pegafix or Vernac (diluted with Thinner 22). Hard PVC is to be primed with Primer 44 HS, metal and glass with diluted Rust-Oleum Noxyde.
Apply via manual spray gun (nozzle free to choose) - spatula, palette knife, glue spreader (combed lime rills ± 3 mm thick).
Rustoleum Elastofill Acrylic Jointing Compound should not be applied in conditions less than 5°C, as it may not adhere to the surface properly. Once applied, joints and seals have to be smoothed with a finger or a cloth soaked in thinner 22 or in soap mixed water. Rustoleum Elastofill Acrylic Jointing Compound can be applied using a Cartridge Skeleton Gun / Mastic, Caulking and Sealant Gun, a spatula, palette knife or glue spreader.
Rustoleum Elastofill Acrylic Jointing Compound offers permanent elasticity with resistance to several things including, ageing, alkalis, water, temperature and various weather conditions. Rustoleum Elastofill Acrylic Jointing Compound can be used on different surfaces indoors and outdoors and is most effective on wood, metal and tiles.
