Hatcrete Solvent Based Curing and Sealing Solution
Hatcrete Solvent Based Curing and Sealing Solution seals and protects concrete and reduces surface dusting for both new and old concrete. It is suitable for both interior or exterior use, and conforms with ASTM C-309 and ASTM C-156.
Best Uses
Hatcrete Solvent Based Curing and Sealing Solution aids in the curing of freshly laid concrete and can also be used to seal existing concrete surfaces as a Lithium Hardener. It slows surface drying, is non yellowing and weather resistant and is ideal for use on colour hardened floors.
Application
The recommended application method when using as a curing membrane is by spray. It can be applied by brush or roller when being used as a sealer on existing concrete.
When used as a Curing Agent:
As soon as final finish is completed and the concrete surface is free of any bleed water, the product should be spray applied as soon as the surface has gained sufficient strength to withstand spray application without damage.
The sprayer unit must be equipped with VITONTM seals and solvent resistant hose and body.
The product should be applied at a minimum of 1 litre per 5m². If a second coat is required, you will need to allow the first coat to dry tack free prior to applying a second coat. Application rates may increase due to surface profile and uniformity of application.
When uses as a Sealer:
All existing concrete surfaces should be clean, dry and free of any surface laitance. If the product is being used outside, then it must be applied when there is no chance of rain before
the product has fully dried. Please note, concrete should not be sealed below 5ºC or above 30ºC.
