Product Description

Hempel Hempadur 85671 is a two-component, amine adduct cured phenolic epoxy (novolac) tank and pipeline coating with very good adhesion and high temperature, water and chemical resistance.

Best Uses

Hempel Hempadur 85671 is formulated for use as an interior lining in tanks, pipelines, railcars etc. for hot water, brine, crude oil, vegetable oils and other chemicals as per the Chemical Resistance Guide, ONLY shades 11150 and 50900. ALL other shades including Aluminium (19000) can ONLY be used as an external coating for the protection of insulated (CUI) and uninsulated process pipework and vessels, including cryogenic conditions.

Service Temperatures

  • In crude oil: Maximum: 130°C/266°F
  • In vegetable oils: Maximum: 60°C/140°F
  • In water (maximum gradient 15°C/27°F): 95°C/203°F
