Hempel Hemucryl Enamel Hi-Build 58030 is a water-borne, acrylic dispersion based paint for interior and exterior moderate to severe corrosive environments.

Best Uses

Hempel Hemucryl Enamel Hi-Build 58030 dries to a non-yellowing and glossy coating with low dirt pick-up, good weathering properties, and high gloss retention. Especially suited for application by airless spray. Hempel Hemucryl Enamel Hi-Build 58030 is formulated as a glossy, finishing coat in water-borne paint systems, interior and exterior, in moderately to severe corrosive environments.

Hempel Hemucryl Enamel Hi-Build 58030 is for use on buildings the relatively high resistance to diffusion of water vapour and carbon dioxide should be taken into account. For handrails and the similar, a chemically curing coating is alternatively recommended.

Application

Preparation For New Steel: Remove oil and grease etc. thoroughly with suitable detergent. Remove salts and other contaminants by high pressure fresh water cleaning. Abrasive blasting to the cleaning degree specified for the final coating system, usually Sa 2½ (ISO 8501-1:2007). Prime with: HEMUCRYL PRIMER

Preparation For Repair and Maintenance: Remove oil and grease etc. thoroughly with suitable detergent. Remove salts and other contaminants by high pressure fresh water cleaning. Remove rust and loose paint by abrasive blasting or power tool cleaning to St 3 (ISO 8501-1:2007) (minor areas) before recoating. Dust off residues. Prime with: HEMUCRYL PRIMER Touch up bare spots with: HEMUCRYL ENAMEL HI-BUILD 58030. Otherwise, according to specification.

If application is done by roller/brush, apply liberally. Use brushes with synthetic fibres. Rollers should either be mohair or felt.
