Hempel's HI-VEE 56540 is a strong day-light reflecting acrylic paint, which has fluorescent pigments giving high visibility. Please be aware that HI-VEE 56540 has no effect in darkness.
Best Uses
HI-VEE 56540 is ideal for use on life saving equipment in the Marine Industry. It can also be used as a warning sign for protruding or moving objects.
Application
The recommended application method is by either spray or brush. Ensure the surface to be painted is properly prepared prior to application.
Apply on a clean, dry surface with a temperature that is at least 3°C (5°F) above the dew point. This will help to avoid condensation.
Two coats are generally recommended, followed by a subsequent coat of Hempel's Hi-Vee Lacquer 06520, as this will help improve the light fastness.
