Zinc Primer 16490 is best used as a protective primer on steel in severely corrosive environments. It can also be used for the repair of galvanizes steel, Galvosil and other zinc rich coatings.
Application is by airless spray or brush. Please note that if you use a brush to apply the product, more coats will be required to achieve the specified dry film thickness.
Ensure all products are clean and dry before application. Remove any oil, grease and other contaminants using a suitable detergent. Salts, detergents and other contaminants can be cleaned by high pressure fresh water cleaning.
