Intersleek 1100SR is designed for application onto the underwater hull. It provides the best efficiency for vessels from the start and throughout the vessel life cycle. Over 6,400 ships have been coated with Intersleek technology within the last 20 years, delivering cost savings under the current and future environmental regulation.
It is suitable for use at Newbuilding or Maintenance & Repair.
The recommended application method is Airless Spray. Brush or Roller are recommended for small areas only, and multiple coats may be required to achieve specified film thickness. Please note: Application by conventional spray is not recommended.
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from contamination. High pressure fresh water wash or fresh water wash, as appropriate, and remove all oil or grease, soluble contaminants and other foreign matter in accordance with SSPC-SP1 solvent cleaning.
Intersleek 1100SR must always be applied over Intersleek tie coat within the required overcoating interval.
