KEIM Royalan Dilution
Royalan Dilution reacts chemically with the surface and has been specially formulated to include liquid potassium silicate and stabilisers.
Best Uses
Dilution for Keim Royalan comprises of liquid potassium silicate and stabilisers. Royalan Dilution is used as a binder coat to consolidate friable surfaces and as a dilution for KEIM Royalan and KEIM Royalan Grob. Royalan Dilution is also designed for equalisation or reduction of the absorbency of mineral substrates.
KEIM Royalan Dilution bonds permanently (silicification) with the substrate, is extremely water vapour permeable, highly resistant to weathering and incombustible.
- Consolidates the surface
- Odourless and non-toxic
- Weather resistant
- Non-film forming
- Non-flammable
- UV and solvent resistant
- Resists fungal and mould growth
Application
All loose, flaking and unstable material must be identified and then thoroughly removed, all surfaces must be thoroughly washed down with clean cold water to remove all surface dirt and dust. When all surfaces are clean, sound, wind dry, dust free and free from all surface contaminants, decoration using KEIM Mineral Paints may proceed.
For pre-treating highly absorbent substrates Apply KEIM Royalan Dilution undiluted with a brush and work well into all surfaces. For diluting KEIM Royalan and KEIM Royalan Grob. See KEIM Royalan / Grob Technical Data Sheets.
