Sherwin Williams Mordant Wash L703 is formulated to give galvanised surfaces a chemical pre treatment to improve adhesion of suitable paint systems.

Application

When applied, this solution turns bright zinc surfaces black and tis colour change can be used as an indicator that the chemical reaction has taken place so the surface is ready for overcoating. Apply L703 Mordant Wash via brush. Clean tools with water, do not thin. Top coats must be applied within a maximum of 2 days after application of L703. Suitable topcoat: Sherwin Williams Macropoxy K267 MIO Finish.
