Remmers Color Flex Fill is a highly elastic primer with good filling properties that has been developed as part of the Remmers Colorflex Render System for Park Homes.
Best Uses
Remmers Color Flex Fill is part of the Remmers Colorflex Render System for application and protection of park homes, static homes, mobile units and other portable, temporary buildings.
Benefiting from high crack bridging capabilities, this render filler is ideal for temporary buildings that are susceptible to movement, or at risk of render damage during relocation and transport.
Remmers Color Flex Fill is ideal for application to both new facades and concrete surfaces. Suitable for application to external renders constructed from OSB and MgO board and concrete facades. This render filler is also suitable for the repair of old, cracked facade surfaces when used within the Colorflex Render System. Remmers Color Flex Fill is also suitable for application for load-bearing, such as adhering old coatings on a mineral or synthetic resin base.
Application
See system sheet on the Technical tab above for application details when using as part of the Remmers Colorflex Render System. This product should only be applied by experience contractors or contractors that have attended the Remmers application course.
The substrate must be dry, clean, load-bearing and free of dust and free of aggressive salts. Prime load-bearing, mineral substrates with Remmers Funcosil BI.
Stir well using a mechanical paddle mix. Coat the surface using a roller or trowel. Apply the material in 2 or 3 coats, depending on the condition of the substrate. Wait at least 24 hours before applying subsequent layers. Alternatively, embed a textile scrim material into the first layer for surface reinforcement.
For a Smooth Surface - Apply material using a lamb's wool roller. Use a brush to work the material into the gaps, making sure that the material does not accumulate in any spots.
For a Texture Surface - Apply the material evenly using a lamb's wool roller. Then, use an appropriate textured roller to achieve the desired texture.
Clean tools, equipment and any splashed material immediately with water while still fresh.
