Remmers Funcosil SNL has a range of uses including:
Please note: Funcosil SNL is not suitable for materials that are sensitive to solvents, such as polystyrene or bitumen.
The temperature of the material, air and substrate needs to be between min. +10 C to max. +25 °C
Apply the primer abundantly by flow coating without pressure (avoid misting), so that a 30 - 50 cm long liquid film flows down the surface.
Apply on one section at a time, moving from top to bottom, and immediately go over with a large brush. Repeat the application several times (wet on damp) until no further material is absorbed by the substrate.
If applying on surfaces where a spraying application is not possible you can apply by brush or roller making sure that the tools are always well saturated.
Take appropriate measures to protect adjacent building elements and materials that should not come into contact with the product. Protect freshly treated surfaces from driving rain, wind, sunlight and condensation. Remove any excess impregnation agent within 1 hour using V 101 thinner.

The manufacturers data sheets are available for download from this website. It is your responsibility to read and understand all aspects of the data sheets before you place an order and prior to application. Please pay special attention to the preparation, mixing and application temperatures of the product, cleaning of substrate and environmental factors such as temperature, rain etc. Quoted coverage rates are based on the manufacturers theoretical rates and may vary depending upon substrates absorption, texture and application. We always recommend a test is carried out to ensure suitability.
Customer further agrees that Promain have no liability for any errors or omissions contained within the Product Data Sheets and are not liable for failure due to misapplication or inadequate substrate cleaning and preparation. For more information please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
