Rust-oleum 4900 Polycoat 2K is a quality transparent multi-purpose waterbased scratch-resistant topcoat suitable for interior and exterior use.
Available in either matt or gloss finishes, this product ideal for use as a clear sealer for concrete, parquet, wood or a pre-painted flooring surface to provide a strong clear top coat. 4900 Polycoat 2K also serves as an anti-grafitti coating and does not yellow.
Due to the products resistance to boiling water, alcohol, coffee, red wine and various acids and alkalis, the 4900 Polycoat 2K is perfect as a clear topcoat to dance floors, bars, nightclubs, venues, kitchens, restaurants or any other floor environment that has the requirement to be very abrasion resistant but also able to handle anything you can throw at it!
Ensure the surface to be varnished is clean, dry and sound from wax, oil or any other contamination. Bare wood should be sanded to a smooth surface. New concrete must be at least 6 months old prior to using Rustoleum 4900 Polycoat 2K. Can be applied using a brush or roller. Not suitable on plastic type materials eg. plastic wood.
- Application temperature 10° to 35° C (at least 3° above dew point)
