Selemix 7-649 Fast Dry Synthetic Topcoat is a high gloss, rapid drying finish for application to bare steel.
Selemix 7-649 Fast Dry Synthetic Topcoat is particularly recommended for agricultural and construction equipment, lifts, and earth moving equipment. Selemix 7-649 should be either applied on top of bare ready steel or Selemix 2.708.080X or 2.708.0900 Primers.
For application via airless spray or conventional spray Selemix 7-649 should be combined with Selemix Thinner 1-215 at a ratio of 4 to 2 - 2.5. Do not use any other thinner. Airless spray equipment should be at 120 - 140 pressure. Conventional spray should be at 3-4 bar pressure.
Application requires 2 coats, allowing for 5 - 10 minutes at 20°C to allow flash off between coats.
