PPG Sigmarine 35 is a micaceous iron oxide alkyd topcoat designed for use on a variety of structures in industrial exposures that are exposed to adverse atmospheric conditions.
Sigmarine 35 is best used to provide UV resistance to exterior applications with a MIO effect finish suitable for marine appliances used on an exterior basis.
Sigmarine 35 can be applied using brush, roller or air and airless sprays with ultra fast drying time of just 1 hour. An interval of 16 hours should be followed as instructed before applying a second coating. Sigmarine 35 has a theoretical coverage rate of 10.2m2 per litre.
Surface and Environment
Sigmarine 35 can be used on surfaces that are clean, dry and free from contamination and have been suitable primed with PPG Sigmarine 24. Sigmarine 35 works exceptionally well externally in conditions that can often prove to be harsh and damaging in an industrial environment.
