Sikafloor-263SL is a two part, multi-purpose binder which is based on an epoxy resin. It provides an economical means of providing an easily applied and economic floor with good chemical and mechanical resistance with a gloss finish.
Sika Sikafloor-263SL is used as self-smoothing and broadcast systems for concrete and cement screeds. It is recommended for use in areas of normal to medium heavy wear, such as storage, multi-storey car parks, maintenance workshops and garages, etc. It can also be used in the food and beverage industry.
The concrete substrate must be sound and of sufficient compressive strength. The substrate must clean, dry and free of all contaminants such as dirt, oil, grease, coatings and surface treatments. The product must be mechanically stirred, after confirming the substrate moisture content, r.h. and dew point. Application will be with a serrated trowel and spiked roller. Please see Product Data Sheet for more information.
Concrete substrates must be mechanically prepared, using abrasive blast cleaning or scarifying equipment, to remove cement laitance and achieve an open textured surface. All dust, weak concrete, loose and friable material must be completely removed from all surfaces. The substrate and uncured floor must be at least 3°C.
Sika Sikafloor 263SL is used within the following Sika systems:

The manufacturers data sheets are available for download from this website. It is your responsibility to read and understand all aspects of the data sheets before you place an order and prior to application. Please pay special attention to the preparation, mixing and application temperatures of the product, cleaning of substrate and environmental factors such as temperature, rain etc. Quoted coverage rates are based on the manufacturers theoretical rates and may vary depending upon substrates absorption, texture and application. We always recommend a test is carried out to ensure suitability.
