When using Keim Spachtel as a deep fill filler or for using as a levelling filler for render and concrete before applying silicate emulsion paints, sol-silicate paints, silicate paints or silicate render and embedding reinforcement fabric the layers should be applied between 0 - 3 mm.
Keim Spachtel is applied by trowel, plasterers float or for smaller applications by filling knife and expected consumption is approx. 1.5 kg per m2 per mm of layer thickness. Precise consumption may very depending upon the substrate being repaired. Keim Spachtel contains a small aggregate varying is size from 0 to 0.5 mm.
Ambient and substrate temperature above 5°C and below 30°C. Do not apply in direct sunlight or onto warm surfaces, or if it is raining or with the immediate likelihood of rain. Do not use if overnight frost is expected. For the best finish possible, Promain recommend the use of KEIM's Façade Brush for the best application.

The manufacturers data sheets are available for download from this website. It is your responsibility to read and understand all aspects of the data sheets before you place an order and prior to application. Please pay special attention to the preparation, mixing and application temperatures of the product, cleaning of substrate and environmental factors such as temperature, rain etc. Quoted coverage rates are based on the manufacturers theoretical rates and may vary depending upon substrates absorption, texture and application. We always recommend a test is carried out to ensure suitability.
Customer further agrees that Promain have no liability for any errors or omissions contained within the Product Data Sheets and are not liable for failure due to misapplication or inadequate substrate cleaning and preparation. For more information please refer to our Terms & Conditions.
