Product Description

Teknos Anti-Stain Aqua 5200-00 is a water borne industrial primer for new wood formulated for exterior use such as windows and doors.

Best Uses

Teknos Anti-Stain Aqua 5200-00 is a highly versatile, robust and easy to use softwood primer, which is typically used for exterior wood windows, doors, shutters, conservatories or claddings. Formulated to minimise yellowing from knots and softwood with a large amount of heartwood.

This product is typically suited for application to softwood, which has been pretreated with a suitable Teknos Wood Preservative.

Teknos Anti-Stain Aqua 5200-00 is available in opaque white or antique white. It can however be supplied in factory tinted pastel colours, which can be developed based upon a white base (e.g. light grey).

Application

The wood must be clean and free from wood dust and contamination. The moisture content of the wood should be approx. 13% and should not exceed 15%. All softwood for exterior use should either be vacuum impregnated or treated with a wood preservative. Apply using airmix (aircoat) or airless by hand or in automatic spraying equipment.

The product is delivered ready for use. Stir the product well before use. Primed parts must always be protected with a topcoat treatment before they are exposed to the influence of the weather.
