Teknos Futura 3 Adhesion Primer

Teknos Futura 3 is a full matt multi-purpose alkyd primer that can be used both as primer, primer surfacer, adhesion primer and intermediate coating on a variety of wooden surfaces internally and externally and metal surfaces internally.

Best Uses

Teknos Futura 3 is intended for priming of surfaces indoors and outdoors, such as furniture, chipboard, fibre board and gypsum board. Also for priming of metal surfaces indoors (also light metal and galvanized surfaces) as well as glass, ceramic tiles, PVC plastic and acid-curing paints indoors. Can also be used for painting
ceilings.

Application

Clean the surface from loose matter, dirt and dust. Wash previously painted surfaces with Teknos Rensa Super paint cleaner. Remove rust from the metal surfaces with wire-brush. Remove loose and poorly adherent paint coats. Remove all possible latex paints. Matt down hard or gloss surfaces by sanding and thereafter remove the dust.

Before use stir the paint thoroughly. For painting wooden surfaces dilute the paint if needed 5 - 10 % with Teknosolv 1621. Apply by brush, roller or spray. Suitable airless spray nozzle is 0.013 - 0.015". When applying by spray, thin the paint 5 - 15% by volume with Teknosolv 9500.
