Tor Unicover EMF is an elastomeric water-based masonry paint coating for walls, providing decoration and weatherproofing for exterior masonry. Formerly Torprufe EMF.
Best Uses
Tor Unicover EMF provides a high performance decoration and weatherproof protection of masonry, that is particularly effective for bridging/sealing of hairline cracks. High elasticity of binder permits breathability without flaking or cracking. Excellent resistance to biological attack.
Smooth high solids water based masonry coating containing an elastomeric acrylic polymer system incorporating inert pigments, high quality extenders and anti mould agents.
Class 0 Fire rating achieved when applied to a non-combustible substrate that has been previously painted with a maximum of 8 coats of masonry paint.
Application
Bare: Apply over suitably prepared, clean, dry sound surfaces that are free of mould & mildew and have been primed/stabilised with Tor Surface Sealer Solution EM337.
Previously Painted: Ensure the surface to be painted is clean, dry, sound and free of any surface contamination such as mould, mildew, dirt etc. Remove any loose, failing or unsound paint back to a firm feathered edge. Treat any surface mould with DM405 Torkill W, in accordance with product recommendations. Clean surfaces with Torstrip WDA 10 where required, in accordance with product recommendations.
Ensure substrate is completely dry before painting, maximum moisture content of 16%. Fill any areas required with a proprietor filler before applying the paint system.

The EMF Masonry Paint System has been specifically designed for the high performance protection of all types of external masonry, cement, concrete and cementitious renders. Torprufe can be used in various environments and on a variety of buildings, including; High rise Housing Blocks, Car Park Structures, Commercial Buildings, Residential Housing and any other building that requires long term masonry protection.
