Axalta ViterLac PU90 Finish is a general purpose, fast air drying, urethane alkyd gloss finish, for structural steel and the ACE market.
Best Uses
ViterLac PU90 Finish is ideally suited for use on structural steel, which has been suitably primed with selected ViterPrime primers. It is also suitable for use in the ACE market on items including agricultural machinery and earth moving equipment. ViterLac PU90 Finish is not suitable for immersion.
Application
The recommended application method is by Airless Spray, Conventional Spray or Brush. Axalta ViterLac PU90 Finish, should only be applied in conditions of good ventilation (which must be maintained during drying and curing). Do not apply when rain, mist, sleet or snow are imminent. During the application and drying time of the paint coating, the surface should remain dry, with the relative humidity not exceeding 85%.
Ensure that the product is thoroughly mixed by using a mechanical agitator before use, and continue to agitate periodically to ensure the paint remains homogeneous.
Surface and Environment
Axalta ViterLac PU90 Finish should be applied over an appropriate primer and/or intermediate coat. All surfaces to be coated should be dry and cleaned to remove all oil, grease, salts, weld flux or other contamination.
