Centre-Court Premium is formulated using water-based polyurethane and acrylic resin technology It provides an environmentally safe coating with the essential player/surface interaction characteristics that meet current standards.

Best Uses

Centre-Court Premium Tennis Court Paint is best used to provide a decorative and protective finish to Tennis Courts and transforms worn out and shabby courts into fresh and new looking surfaces that users will enjoy playing on. Centre-Court Premium Tennis Court Paint has excellent waterproofing qualities and protects against harsh weathering and abrasion. Centre-Court Premium Tennis Court Paint needs to withstand constant foot trafficking as players move around the court constantly. This paint works well at resisting the impact of friction.

Application

Centre-Court Premium Tennis Court Paint has been formulated to be applied in 2 coats unlike some budget brands.

Prior to use, ensure to use a good fungicidal wash such as Centrecoat GS36 to remove any green algae and spores that may be present. This will ensure that the tennis court paint will adhere to the substrate be it painted or unpainted.

Centre-Court Premium Tennis Court Paint can be applied using a brush, roller or airless spray and can be used as an undercoat before the application of Centre-Court Line Marking Paint. Centre-Court Premium Tennis Court Paint is available in a range of colours that are commonly used on tennis and other sports courts. A normal coat size is 625 square metres, including run off. The usual requirement for this size of court is 11 x 20 litre tubs. This would normally provide a two coat coverage for an average size court.

From experience we estimate that the average tennis court will require 6 x 20 litre tins to paint the run off and 5 x 20 litre tins to paint the play area when applied by roller, please note DO NOT pour the paint on to the surface and spread it out it must be applied evenly by roller.

The easiest way to repaint your tennis court is by mask your existing lines prior to painting the play area. To do this you will need approximately 7 rolls of 50mm x 50m of masking tape to cover the 516ft (157.29 linear metres) of line. By doing this it will make the repainting of the lines much simpler!
