Centrecoat Armourcoat Epoxy Gloss Wall Coating is a two part, virtually solvent free epoxy coating formulated to be used in conjunction with resin flooring materials to provide a continuous, hard wearing seamless finish on walls and vertical surfaces.
Best Uses
Centrecoat Armourcoat Epoxy Gloss Wall Coating is formulated for application in medium duty areas requiring an easy to clean, tough and durable coating. Benefiting from excellent chemical resistance, this 2 pack wall coating is ideal for areas such as wash boxes, silos, bund walls etc.
Centrecoat Armourcoat Epoxy Gloss Wall Coating is used as a finish coat for Centrecoat ArmourCoat Epoxy 6 Lightweight Wall Render and is particularly useful to provide protection over rough surfaces such as render, breeze blocks etc.
Available in a gloss finish in a range of standard colours as well as clear. Tintable to a large selection of RAL and BS shades upon request.
Application
Concrete substrates must be a minimum of 28 days old, dry, clean and free of surface laitance and contaminants such as dirt, oil, grease, poorly bonded coatings and surface treatments. Inadequate preparation will lead to loss of adhesion and failure. Concrete must include a functional damp-proof membrane.
Materials should be stored at 15°C to 25°C for a minimum of 8 hours prior to use. Pre-mix the coloured resin component before use. Add the hardener component to the coloured resin component and mix using a low speed electric mixer (200 - 500 rpm) for at least 3 minutes until homogeneous. Use a spatula to scrape the sides and bottom of the mixing vessel several times, as unmixed material will result in uncured patches in the final finish.
Apply with a medium pile simulated sheepskin roller, working well into the surface, taking care not to exceed the coverage rate. Edges and difficult to reach areas may be applied thinly by brush. Centrecoat Armourcoat Epoxy Gloss Wall Coating is a near-100% solids material and can be prone to running on vertical surfaces. Avoid applying excessively thick to minimise drips.
