Coo-Var Alkali Resisting Primer is a high quality low odour solvent based primer/sealer. Ideal for use on alkaline surfaces which can attack conventional decorative coatings. Also helps combat surfaces with varying degrees of porosity.
Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease, oil and any other contaminates. Use Coo-Var Masonry Stabiliser on unstable brick, screed or plaster prior to painting. Existing painted surfaces should be cleaned, degreased and sanded to ensure an adequate "key" is produced. Remove all loose, flaking material and treat bare areas as new substrate then prepare accordingly.
Mix well before use. Care must be taken during application that the temperature is above the dew point to avoid any contamination. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying. Apply direct to stable surfaces.
