PRODUCT DETAILS
Hempel Non Skid 45340 is a two component product that forms a tough non skid coating which is resistant to abrasion, impact, fresh water, seawater diesel oil, jet fuel and more.
Best Uses
Non skid 45340 is best used as a non-skid coating for steel decks and concrete in severely corrosive environments and/or subject to mechanical wear. It also has limited resistance to vegetable oils and to strong solvents such as ketones, esters etc.
Please note that Non Skid 45340 is not recommended for mineral acids or strong oxidizing solutions.
Application
Application is by brush, roller or hopper gun. Non Skid 45340 should only be used where application and curing can proceed at temperatures above 10°C.
The surface should be cleaned and dried prior to application.
The temperature of the paint should preferably be between 15-25°C, as a minimum 10°C to ensure satisfactory application properties.
