Product Description

International Intersleek 737 is a three pack, silicone elastomer tie coat to promote adhesion between the specified priming system and the Intersleek finish coat.

Best Uses

Intersleek 737 is used to promote adhesion between the specified priming system and the Intersleek finish coat. It can also be used as the primer for Intersleek finish on rubber substrates.

Intersleek 737 is suitable for use at Newbuilding or Maintenance & Repair.

Application

The recommended method of application is Airless Spray. Brush or roller are suitable for small areas only, and multiple coats may be required to achieve the specified film thickness. Please note: Application by conventional spray is not recommended for this product.

Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from contamination. High pressure fresh water wash or fresh water wash, as appropriate, and remove all oil or grease, soluble contaminants and other foreign matter in accordance with SSPC-SP1 solvent cleaning.

Surface Preparations

Intersleek 737 should always be applied over a recommended primer coating scheme. The primer surface should be dry and free from all contamination, and Intersleek 737 must be applied within the overcoating intervals specified
(consult the relevant product data sheet).

Any areas of breakdown, damage etc., should be prepared to the specified standard (e.g. Sa2½ (ISO 8501-1:2007) and primed prior to the application of Intersleek 737.
