Keim Ecosil Grund is a silicate based primer coat for interior use to equalise different absorbencies on repaired or filled surfaces, as well as a base coat for use on plasterboard and sound previously painted surfaces.
Keim Ecosil Grund is formulated to equalise and level surfaces, to provide good adhesion for Keim internal paints.
Keim Ecosil Grund can be applied by brush or roller undiluted. Leave for at least 5 hours before over-coating. Spraying is not recommended. All loose, flaking and unstable material must be identified and then thoroughly removed, all surfaces must be thoroughly washed down with clean cold water to remove all surface dirt and
dust. When all surfaces are clean, sound, wind dry, dust free and free from all surface contaminants, decoration using Keim Mineral Paints may proceed. Highly absorbent or friable substrates should firstly be treated with Keim Granital Dilution.
