Sherwin Williams Macropoxy M330 - Formerly Leighs Epigrip is a 2 pack epoxy tie sealer coat for use over zinc silicate and other types of zinc rich primers.
Best Uses
Sherwin Williams Macropoxy M330 is best used either as a blast primer for use over stainless steel or as a sealer coat for use over zinc silicate and other types of zinc rich primers.
Application
Recommended primers and top coats: Zinc Clad J984 Zinc Rich Primer and Zinc Clad II EU. Ensure surfaces to be coated are clean, dry and free from all surface contamination. Indefinitely overcoatable with epoxy systems provided the surfaces to be coated have been suitably cleaned.
Where a high degree of gloss and colour retention is required, overcoat with Acrolon C137V2, Acrolon C237 within 7 days at a minimum DFT of 50 microns or in the case of Acrolon C750V2 overcoat within 4 days. These overcoating times refer to achievement of optimum adhesion at 23°C and will vary with temperature. Recommended application using airless spray using thinner no5.
