Mapei Planitop 100 forms a compact and mechanically strong layer after hardening and is ideal for small repairs, evening out surface imperfections. Mapei Skimming Mortars are suitable for application to prefabricated concrete panels, steps, beams and pillars or for rapid finishing of cement renders, lime and cement mortar and concrete facings. Once mixed with water Mapei Skimming Mortars offer high bonding strength as well as easy application by a flat metal trowel and finished by either a metal or sponge float. Planitop Skimming Mortars are compatible with other Mapei products from the Mapegrout and Elastocolor ranges.
Mapei Skimming Mortars
Mapei Skimming Mortars have been developed from fine-grained binders, selected aggregates, special admixtures to form water-repellent cementitious skimming mortars with a fine, natural finish for concrete and plastic, glass and porcelain coatings. Mapei Skimming Mortars such as Mapei Planitop 100, 200 or Planitop 300 are suitable for levelling and finishing uneven surfaces and can be applied to internal and external concrete, cementitious and lime-mortar render, old quartz paint, scratch-effect plastic coatings, glass or porcelain mosaics, renders or cement lime mortar before painting.
