PPG Prep 88 (Formerly Sigmarite 88), is a clear water based cleaner specifically designed for removing soil and chalk from a variety of different substrates. As one of the industries leading brand names, Sigmarite 88 makes it a priority to provide the best preparation products in order to help aid the process of painting and priming.
PPG Sigmarite 88 dramatically improves recoatability to aged substrates by removing dirt and bacteria build up. Sigmarite 88 is available in 10 litre containers, best used for large projects where there is a high level of soiling or chalking.
PPG Sigmarite 88 works much better than solvent based cleaners during application as it improves the breakdown time of soiling, oil and grease deposits on the surface and can be washed off using clean, hot water.
PPG Sigmarite 88 can be used in the construction, marine and industrial industry to clean concrete and steel substrates and remove all greasy deposits from the top layer allowing for a surface that can be repainted again when necessary.
