Selemix 6-540 Hammer Effect Additive is a silicone based product designed to be used in the Selemix range of cellulose, polyurethane & fast dry synthetic topcoats when a hammer effect finish is required. 6-540 is compatible with Selemix topcoats 7-310, 7-330, 7-510, 7-610 & 7-710.

Selemix 6-540 is best used in conjunction with Selemix topcoats 7-310, 7-330, 7-510, 7-610 & 7-710 by diluting the topcoat at a general ratio of 3% volume, when used with an applicable topcoat its ideal for application on to plant equipment, diggers, dumpers, excavators, screed pumps, generators, power barrows, bowsers, pressure washers, tower lights, street masters, back hoes, shipping containers, welfare cabins, steel structures, car, trucks, motorcycles, workshop equipment, light industrial equipment, machine tools, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders, guillotines, break presses, pull saws, electrical cabinets, control panels, ferrous steel, mild steel, black steel, galvanised steel, previously coated steel, light alloys, agricultural equipment, tractors, trailers, ploughs, tilers, muck spreaders, bailers, rotavators plus many more

Application

To use Selemix 6-540 Hammer effect additive simply dilute the final topcoat in a Selemix paint system at a general ratio of 3% in volume, it will then need to be diluted with Selemix Thinners 9-510 prior to use. Selemix 6-540 is compatible with Selemix topcoats 7-310, 7-330, 7-510, 7-610 & 7-710.
