Selemix SPP2000 Paint Performance Enhancer can be added to any compatible Selemix topcoat to improve water repellence, dirt pick up and graffiti resistance.

Selemix SPP2000 Paint Performance Enhancer can be added to any compatible Selemix 2 pack polyurethane and acrylic top coats. SPP2000 has been formulated to allow surface tension variation which will improve water repellence, dirt pick and graffiti resistance.

When combined at the correct ratio with a compatible Selemix topcoat it is ideal for application onto mild steel, bare steel, stainless steel, galvanised steel, zinc sprayed steel, previously coated steel, plant equipment, diggers, dumpers, excavators, screed pumps, generators, power barrows, cranes, crawler cranes, good hoists, lifting equipment, lifting gear, chain slings, agricultural equipment, tractors, trailers, bailers, muck spreaders, machine tools, lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, drill presses, guillotines, break presses, pull saws, cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles, roller shutters, steel doors, garage doors, airport ground support equipment, control panels, electrical cabinets plus, previously coated steel, garden furniture, railings , handrails, steel structures, plus many more.

Best Uses

SP2000 is best used in conjunction with compatible Selemix topcoat such as 7-110, 7-550, 7-530, 7-531, 7-532, 7-533, 7-534, 7-535, 7-536 & 7-537 to improve water repellence, dirt pick and graffiti resistance. Using in conjunction with the aforementioned topcoats it is ideal for application on to bare steel, stainless steel, iron, ferrous steel, mild steel, zinc sprayed steel, previously coated steel, light industrial equipment, workshop equipment, car jacks, engine hoists, machine tools, lathes, milling machines, surface grinders, pull saws, guillotines, break presses, fly presses, plant equipment, screed pumps, cranes, crawler cranes, diggers, dumpers, excavators, earthmovers, bowsers, pressure washers, power barrows, good hoists, chain slings, lifting gear, cars, trucks, motorcycles, welfare cabins, control panels, airport ground support equipment, roller shutters, steel doors, garage doors, shipping containers plus many more

Application

To use Selemix SPP200 Paint Performance Enhancer simply add up to 6% by weight to the mixed ready to use compatible topcoat. For economy it is recommended that SPP200 is only added to the last full topcoat in a Selemix paint system.

If recoating a Selemix topcoat that contains SPP2000, it is necessary to sand the topcoat thoroughly to remove at least 10 microns of material before recoating. It is also recommended that a wet on wet primer is apply prior to applying the topcoat.
