Sika Sikagard 850 Activator
Sika Sikagard 850 Activator is part of the Sikagard anti graffiti coating system. It is a one part, ready to use adhesion promoting primer.
Best Uses
Sikagard 850 Activator is best used as an adhesion promoting primer on coated mineral substrates and wood, to improve application and adhesion of Sikagard 850 Clear.
Application
Application is by Brush, roller or airless spray. Always ensure that you strictly follow the installation procedures as defined in method statements, application manuals and working instructions, which must always be adjusted to the actual site conditions.
Important notes
On rough substrates, use a brush to apply the primer and make sure that it covers all the surface, including any voids. Do not over brush the primer as that could cause air bubbles which will affect the final finish.
Apply Sikagard®-850 Activator evenly over the prepared coating with either a brush or fleece roller or airless spray at the required consumption rate.
Existing coatings must be tested to confirm their compatibility with Sikagard®-850 Activator and Sikagard®-850 Clear top coat.
