Product Description
Teknos Hydropur 2K Color 7515 is a pigmented, water-borne, fast-drying 2-component coloured polyurethane / acrylic lacquer for plastic, wood, and metals.
Best Uses
Teknos Hydropur 2K Color 7515 provides good weather resistance and long-term elasticity to protect and colour plastic, wood and metals.
The product also has a good stain block resistance and a short drying time.
Application
Every substrate must be well-cleaned, dry and free from grease and oil. For aluminium, clean, then finely sand or pad rub (ScotchBrite coarse) and clean again OR use a chemical treatment (chromate conversion coating). On aluminium profile, clean, sand well or dust-blast and clean OR use a chemical treatment (chromate conversion coating).
For foil coated chipboards sand a clean before coating. For plastics including PVC profiles, apply the product at the latest one hour after cleaning. A maximum period of 72 hours (at a maximum temperature of 25°C) should not be exceeded between the last application of Hydropur 2K Color 7515 and the application of Teknos Hydropur 2K Decklack 7590. Otherwise, intermediate sanding is necessary.
