Teknos Timantti W Moisture Sealer

Teknos Timantti W is a water-borne acrylate based moisture sealer that forms a steam-proof film. Ideal for high moisture rooms such as bathrooms or wet rooms walls and ceilings.

Best Uses

Teknos Timantti W is intended for use as a moisture barrier on walls and ceilings in moist internal areas and wet rooms that are painted with a top coat in the Teknos Timantti series. Suitable substrates include concrete, various types of building boards, glass fibre wall fabric glued with adhesive for moist areas, etc.

Ideal for walls and ceilings in bathrooms, kitchens, wet rooms, gyms, saunas, spas and more.

Teknos Timantti W is a green product that dries to a off green translucent colour. It is formulated as a rubbery water barrier for basements that suffer from damp. Use this product once the dampness issue has been rectified to prevent subsequent moisture damage.

Application

Clean new surfaces from dust and dirt. Wash previously painted surfaces with Teknos Rensa Super paint cleaner. Plastic wallpaper and ceramic tiles should be removed. Matt down hard or gloss surfaces by sanding and thereafter remove the dust. Smooth down the uneven surface with Teknos Silora LW stopper for moist areas. Thereafter sand down the surface and remove the dust.

Before use stir Teknos Timantti W thoroughly. Apply by brush or roller. Apply the first coat with sealer diluted with water in the ratio of 1 : 1. The second coat is applied with undiluted sealer after a drying time of 1 - 2 hours. Glass fibre wall coverings are glued with Teknos Timantti W moisture sealer and thereafter primed once with undiluted Teknos Timantti W moisture sealer.
