Coo-Var Hammercote Hammered Enamel Paint

Coo-Var Hammercote Hammered Enamel Paint is part of our range of fast drying Hammered Finish Paint formulated for use on metal to produce a metallic hammered finish.

Coo-Var Hammercote Hammered Enamel Paint can be used where a fast drying finish is needed and this product has outstanding drying properties that takes only 15 minutes to become touch dry at 20°C. It is a one coat system ideally suited for the decoration and protection of metal work. It is non yellowing, fast drying and oil and grease resistant when fully dried. All colours are lead free.

Coo-Var Hammercote Hammered Enamel Paint is best used for providing a hammered finish and excellent protection to a variety of metal surfaces and is suitable for use on cars, radiators, trailers, fences, railings and garden furniture, tools, casings, metal furniture, gates and railings, interior and exterior. 

Application

Coo-Var Hammercote Hammered Enamel Paint can be applied directly onto any metal surface using brush, roller or airless spray, where a fast drying coat is required. Coo-Var Hammercote Hammered Enamel Paint has a theoretical coverage rate of 5-10m2 per litre and is available in 5 litre tins. High film build when brushing ensures excellent corrosion resistance. Recoating after 36 hours will cause the film to wrinkle.

Best results seen when all coats are applied in quick succession. After 36 hours, Hammercote cannot be recoated for up to 6 weeks. On galvanised surfaces, apply Teamac Etchcote TW. Allow to dry before painting.
 On aluminium surfaces, apply Teamac Etch Primer (2K).
