Hempel Hempafire Pro 400 Fast Dry, is a single component fast drying intumescent coating for passive fire protection of structural steel against cellulosic fires. Optimized for R90 and for in-shop and on-site application.

Best Uses

Hempafire Pro 400 Fast Dry is best used as an intumescent fire protection for structural steel in interior and exterior conditions, up to C4 conditions (ISO 12944-2). It is suitable for I section beams, H columns, hollow sections and cellular beams. In addition, it can also be used as a repair and touch-up coating for damaged areas of freshly applied Hempafire Pro 400 Fast Dry. One product for most common steel sections to reduce complexity, application and specification.

Application

Application is by airless spray, brush or roller. In general, thinning is not recommended, however you should always read the full application guide before proceeding with any work.
