Carboline Carboguard E 19 Primer (formerly known as Nullifire PM021 General Purpose Epoxy Primer) is an economical corrosion resistant primer for use on abrasive blasted steel as part of a Carboline / Nullifire intumescent system.

Best Uses

Carboline Carboguard E 19 Primer is widely used within the petrochemical, offshore and chemical industries. Carboguard E 19 Primer is particularly recommended for use as a tie coat diluted with 40% thinners over zinc silicate and metal sprayed steel.

Carboline Carboguard E 19 Primer is compatible with all Nullifire intumescent basecoats. Suitable for C1, C2 and C3 environments.

Application

Apply using airless or airmix spray. Brush or roller application is only recommended for small areas. Please contact our technical team for loadings information to ensure your project is sufficiently protected against fire for the times recommended by building control. Apply using either airless spray equipment, brush or roller following the data sheets found on the technical tab.
