Rust-Oleum Elastofill Acrylic Jointing Compound is an extremely elastic acrylic paste which is designed for filling cracks, crevices and fissures with periodically varying width. Rust-Oleum Elastofill Acrylic Jointing Compound is available in a white or clear colourway, and in 310ml tubes.
Rust-Oleum Elastofill Acrylic Jointing Compound forms part of Promain's Instant Repair Paint range. Although Elastofill is a paste not a paint, it works in the same way to repair cracks and joints on roofs and similar substrates.
Rust-Oleum Elastofill Acrylic Jointing Compound is best used for sealing, jointing, filling, fixing and gluing substrates in need of this form of maintenance. It can be used on various types of substrate, including: wood, metal, glass, hard PVC, tiles and plaster (to name a few).
Rust-Oleum Elastofill Acrylic Jointing Compound offers a permanently high elasticity of 900% and is resistant to ageing for a long period of time. Rust-Oleum Elastofill Acrylic Jointing Compound can absorb strong expansions and deformations easily with its ultra flexible system in place.
Rustoleum Elastofill Acrylic Jointing Compound should not be applied in conditions less than 5 degrees Celsius, as it may not adhere to the surface properly. Once applied, joints and seals have to be smoothed with a finger or a cloth soaked in thinner 22 or in soap mixed water. Rustoleum Elastofill Acrylic Jointing Compound can be applied using a manual spray gun, a spatula, palette knife or glue spreader.
