Sika Sikafloor 3000 Snapbooster

Sika Sikafloor®-3000 Snapbooster is a liquid, which is added to Sikafloor®-3000 or Sikafloor®-3000 FX to accelerate the curing process, whilst still maintaining the full pot life of the accelerated products.

Sika Sikafloor 3000 Snapbooster can be used as a curing accelerator for fast track flooring applications in new buildings and in maintenance and refurbishment applications.

Application

MIXING
Important considerations on mixing:

• Excessive amounts of booster - Excessive amounts of booster will affect the performance negatively and may lead to softness and stickiness in the final cured product. Follow the mixing ratio precisely as described on data sheet.
• Application below application temperature - Using the product at temperatures lower than specified on the product data sheet will not reduce the curing time of the final product to less than 24 hours.
• Insufficient amounts of booster - Insufficient amounts of booster will increase the curing time of the final product. Follow the mixing ratio precisely as described in the product data sheet

Mixing procedure
Note: Sikafloor®-3000 Snapbooster is added to Sikafloor ®-3000 or Sikafloor®-3000 FX on site as part of the mixing process. The A and B parts of Sikafloor®-3000 or Sikafloor® 3000 FX must be completely mixed as described in the respective Product Data sheet. Before adding the Product, mix the resins for approximately 40 seconds.

1. Gradually add Sikafloor®-3000 Snapbooster to the mixture
2. Mix for a further 2 minutes until a uniform mix is achieved
3. To ensure thorough mixing, pour materials into another container and mix for an additional minute to achieve a smooth and uniform mix
