Sika Sikafloor-381 is a two part self-smoothing epoxy coating which is highly chemically and mechanically resistant and is for concrete and screed surfaces.
Sikafloor-381 is used for coating concrete and screed surfaces in bund areas, to protect against water contaminating liquids. It provides a high level of chemical and mechanical resistance and is abrasion resistant and liquid proof.
Concrete surfaces must be mechanically prepared by using abrasive blast cleaning or scarifying equipment in order to remove cement laitance and achieve an open textured surface. Sikafloor-381 is a two part epoxy and requires mechanical stirring. After suitable preparation, application is with a serrated trowel and spiked roller. Surface and Environment
Sikafloor-381 provides a self-smoothing epoxy resin that is available in a range of colours and provides an abrasion resistant surface which is also liquid proof and chemical resistant. The option of a slip resistant surface is possible.
