Teknos TeknosPro Pohja Primer

Teknos TeknosPro Pohja Primer is a full matt, water-borne, acrylate-based adhesion primer for wash and wear resistant top coats on internal walls and ceilings.

Best Uses

Teknos TeknosPro Pohja Primer is formulated as primer for dry spaces indoors, e.g. on walls and ceilings in apartments, offices, storerooms and factories. It can also be used as a top coat on ceilings and air conditioning pipes in dry spaces indoors.

Teknos TeknosPro Pohja Primer can be applied to concrete, plaster, filler, brick, wood or building boards.

Application

Clean new surfaces from dust and dirt. Wash previously painted surfaces with Teknos Rensa Super paint cleaner. Matt down hard or gloss surfaces by sanding and thereafter remove the dust. Remove all of the old paint from the surfaces which have been painted with glue paint or lime wash.

Spray filler ceilings, which are not waterproof, are recommended to be primed with solvent borne primer e.g. Teknos Futura 3 Adhesion primer. For smoothing of irregularities in the surface choose a suitable stopper from the Teknos TeknosPro series. The dried stopper is sanded down and the dust removed.

Steel surfaces should be primed with Teknos Ferrex Aqua anti-corrosive paint.

Before use stir the paint thoroughly. The paint is thinned with water when needed. Apply once or twice by brush, roller or spray. Suitable nozzle for airless spray is 0.017 - 0.021".
