Product Description

Graphenstone Ambient Pro+ Premium is a natural, photocatalytic lime based paint that purifies the air through CO2 absorption as it cures and reduces ambient odours.

Best Uses

Graphenstone Ambient Pro+ Premium is an ecological paint with a matte white finish suitable for both interior and exterior walls. Ambient Pro Plus is free of all toxic substances and also highly breathable. The product contains lime which acts as a natural preservative thus eliminating the use of harmful chemicals and/or carcinogenic materials. Manufactured with Graphenstone technology, providing resistance, durability and prevention of condensation.

  • Photocatalytic
  • Decomposes pollutants NOx, VOCs, CO, SOx and
    formaldehydes (among others)
  • Eliminates odours
  • Active in visible and UV light range (400-800m)
  • Absorbs CO2 as it cures, the majority in the first 30 days following application(5kg per 15L - 13.9Lb per 5Gal)
  • High quality lime and Graphenstone Technology
  • Washable - Graphenstone Ambient Pro+ has a class 1 wet scrub rating
  • Ambient Pro+ has an SD value of 1, meaning it is highly breathable and eliminates condensation
  • Matte Finish
  • Outstanding adherence, resistance and durability
  • Excellent flexibility, helps reduce cracking.

Graphenstone Ambient Pro+ Premium is suitable for interior and exterior walls. Ideal for use in busy communal areas, foyers in cities and near heavy traffic, galleries, car parks, open areas and more.

Suitable for application on to plaster, gypsum, mortars, old paint, prefabricated panels and unlaminated wallpaper, brick or perlite.

Application

The substrate must be dry, firm, well adhered, even and free of any impurities that could hinder the perfect bonding of the product. Any organic growth and/or other impurities should be removed by thorough cleaning using specific products for this purpose such as Centrecoat GS36 Fungicidal Wash.

Depending on the nature of the surface, the actions prior to application of the paint vary as follows:

  • Old glossy or satin paints and putties: Clean the surface and sand softly.
  • Absorbent substrates (e.g. concrete block or brick): Prepare substrate by applying Graphenstone Ambient Primer Premium.
  • If the substrate is wood, metal (without corrosion or oxidation) or non-porous (e.g. glazed tiles, phenolic
panel, epoxy or polyurethane paints): apply Graphenstone Four2Four Premium.

Shake and dilute with water using 5-10% per litre of product (Approx. 100-150ml water per litre of paint). Ensure good mixing. Avoid excessive shaking to minimise bubble occlusion.

To optimise the photocatalytic effect, it is recommended to first apply a layer of Graphenstone Ambient Primer Premium diluted 1:1 with water. Leave to dry for 24 hours. Apply 2 or 3 coats evenly. Paint in sections, starting
with borders. Without overloading the roller, dip it lightly into the paint to spread evenly. Do not paint over areas that are drying and avoid splices. Please note that an excess of product per coat can generate micro-fissures.

As it is a lime-based paint, it is very important to respect the drying time between coats to realise optimal paint coverage.
