Graphenstone Nevada Ultra is an ideal low-cost solution for the painting of large indoor projects such as churches, galleries, foyers and more.
Graphenstone Nevada Ultra contains lime which acts as a natural preservative thus eliminating the use of harmful chemicals and/or carcinogenic materials. Manufactured with Graphenstone technology, providing resistance and durability.
Suitable for interior walls and ceilings in materials such as plaster, gypsum, old paint, prefabricated panels, unlaminated wallpaper, brick or perlite, and as a mist coat under Graphenstone Paints. Nevada Ultra is also suitable for exterior use as primer on to new surfaces - please contact our technical team on 01462 421333 for more information on this.
The substrate must be dry, firm, well adhered, even and free of any impurities that could hinder the perfect bonding of the product. Any organic growth and/or other impurities should be removed by thorough cleaning using specific products for this purpose such as Centrecoat GS36 Fungicidal Wash.
If the substrate shows chipping / bagging of the existing paint, remove the non-adherent areas by scraping and brushing. On glossy paints or putties, clean the surface and sand lightly.
Shake and dilute with water using 10-15% per litre of product (Approx. 150-200ml water per litre of paint). Ensure good mixing. Avoid excessive shaking to minimise bubble occlusion.
Apply 2 or 3 coats evenly. Paint in sections, starting with borders. Without overloading the roller, dip it lightly into the paint to spread evenly. Do not paint over areas that are drying and avoid splices. Please note that an excess of product per coat can generate micro-fissures.
