KEIM Dolomitspachtel
Keim Dolomitspachtel has been specially formulated as a ready to use mineral based filler for use on interior mineral, organic and mixed substrates on wall and ceiling surfaces.
Best Uses
Keim Dolomitspachtel is designed as a full cover filler and will easily touch up defects, filling cracks and joints where there is a need to equalise the surface.
Keim Dolomitspachtel can be applied by hand or machine plasterers float or for smaller applications by filling knife and expected consumption is approx. 1.5 kg per m2 per mm of layer thickness. Precise consumption may very depending upon the substrate being repaired. Keim Spachtel contains a small aggregate varying is size from 0 to 0.5 mm.
Application
All loose, flaking or unstable material must be thoroughly removed prior to use. Supplied ready to use. Apply thinly with a float, and do not exceed a maximum layer thickness of 4mm. Deeper cavities must be filled beforehand. Once the first layer has dried apply a second layer with a float. Keim Dolomitspachtel can be over coated with any Keim mineral interior paint. Ambient and substrate temperature should be between 5° C and 30° C when applying.
For the best finish possible, Promain recommend the use of KEIM's Facade Brush for the best application.
