Rust-Oleum CombiColor 7300MS Multi-Surface

Rust-Oleum CombiColor Multi-Surface 7300MS is a solvent based primer and topcoat in one and can be applied direct to wood, metal, MDF, masonry, tiles, most rigid plastics (including uPVC), old concrete, aged galvanized steel and more.

Best Uses

With great adhesion properties, Rustoleum CombiColor Multi-Surface can be used to decorate and protect various substrates found internally and externally, including wood, metal, MDF, masonry, tiles and uPVC. Available in 19 different colours, this multi-surface paint is best used to provide a decorative finish in only one coat, without the hassle of having to buy a primer and a topcoat separately.

Rustoleum CombiColor Multi-Surface can be applied directly to a wide range of surfaces, acting as a primer and finish at the same time. The product is available in a range of standard colours in gloss finish and can also be tinted to a range of BS and RAL colours.  Also available in satin and matt finishes in limited colours. Available in 2.5 litres.

Application

Remove oil, grease and all other surface contaminations by alkaline cleaning in combination with appropriate detergents. Remove rust scale, loose mill scale, loose rust and loose coatings by scraping, wire brushing or sanding. Sand intact coatings to roughen the surface slightly. Test before application the compatibility with the old coating. The surface must be clean and dry during application. New galvanized (bright aluminium-like finish), Zinc and Aluminium (new and old) surfaces have to be primed first with CombiPrimer 3302. Aged galvanized (matt grey appearance, showing white rust) should
first be cleaned with an acid cleaner (e.g. Rust-Oleum® SE108) or by mechanical abrasion with for example ScotchBrite. Very porous surfaces should be sealed prior to application of CombiColor® Multi-Surface.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
To ensure homogeneity, coating materials should be thoroughly stirred prior to use.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Temperature of air, substrate and coating material between 5° and 35°C and relative humidity below 85%. The substrate temperature must be at least 3°C above dew point.

APPLICATION & THINNING: BRUSH
Use natural bristles, long hair brushes. Thinning generally not required

APPLICATION & THINNING: ROLLER
Use short nap, poly-amid 6-12 mm rollers. Roller application may require 2 coats to achieve recommended dry film thickness. Thinning generally not required.

APPLICATION & THINNING: AIR-ATOMISED SPRAY
Not recommended.
