Rustoleum Hard Hat 2169 2182 Anti Rust Primers
Rustoleum Hard Hat Anti Rust Primers 2169 & 2182 are fast drying aerosol primers based on a short oil soya alkyd. These products contain rust inhibitive pigments and are lead and chromate free.
Best Uses
Rustoleum Red Primer 2169 and Grey Primer 2182 are formulated for use on new, bare or slightly rusted steel surfaces. Ideal for use on small areas or as a touch up. Rustoleum Hard Hat Anti Rust Primers 2169 2182 should be used in light industrial exposures, under normal humidity. Interior applications should be recoated with Rust-Oleum Hard Hat Topcoats. Heat resistant to 100°C.
Application
Remove dirt, grease, oil, loose rust and all other surface contaminants by appropriate means. Sand intact coatings to roughen the surface slightly. The surface must be clean and dry during application. Remove cover cap and shake aerosol vigorously for at least 1 minute after the rattle of the ball bearing is heard. Shake frequently during use. Hold can approx 25cm from the substrate. Avoid runs and sags. Apply several thin later at a few minutes intervals. After use turn upside and spray to clean valve.
