Solvent based fixing primer based on chlorinated rubber offering excellent fixing capacity, good UV resistance and flexibility on porous, unpainted mineral substrates. Rustoleum Mathys Primer 44 is ideal for Corrugated Fibre Asbestos roofs and porous concrete. It improves the adherence of topcoats such as Rustoleum Dacfill or Rustoleum Dacfill HZ.
Rustoleum 44 HS Primer is best used as an impregnating flat roof primer and for corrugate fibre asbestos roofs. One hour after application, 44 HS Primer will be water and rain resistant. Offering you excellent flexibility without cracking and solid UV resistance.
Clean and degrease the substrate. If the substrate is an acrylic paint, this must NOT be recoated with Primer 44HS (the acrylic paint is affected by the solvents of Primer 44HS). In such a case, replace Primer 44HS with Pegafix. To ensure homogeneity, coating materials should be thoroughly stirred prior to use.
