Sika Primer 204 N is used as a bonding agent to promote adhesion of Sika Liquid Plastics liquid applied membranes on metals like steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminium and anodized aluminium. However, Sika Primer 204 N is not suitable as an anti-corrosion paint.
Sika Primer 204 N is:
Surfaces must be clean, dry and free from grease, oil and dust. Adhesion to substrates may be improved by scuffing the surface with an abrasive hand pad (very fine grade), wiping down with Sika Cleaner 205 and leaving to flash off. Test with actual substrates and conditions to ensure adhesion and material compatibility.
Sika Primer 204 N has a maximum spread rate of 50ml - 150ml per m2 depending on substrate porosity.
Shake the can of Sika Primer 204 N very thoroughly until mixing ball rattles freely. Continue shaking for another minute and apply a thin but covering coat with a brush, felt pad or foam application. Ideal application and surface temperature is between 15 - 25°C. Tightly reseal container after use.
