Teknos Teknol Aqua 1410-01 Wood Preservative is an aqueous industrial wood preservative for new untreated wood designated for exterior use (hazard class 3) as defined in BS/EN 335-1:1994. Teknos Teknol Aqua 1410-01 Wood Preservative is ideal for protecting wooden cladding or windows and doors.
Teknos Teknol Aqua 1410-01 Wood Preservative protects the wood surface and the treated area against wood destroying and wood discolouring fungi. Teknos Teknol Aqua 1410-01 Wood Preservative satisfies the performance requirements of EN 599-1. After use, your exterior wooden windows and doors become more dimensional stable.
Teknos Teknol Aqua 1410-01 Wood Preservative also minimizes patchiness in subsequent translucent surface treatments within a Teknos system.
The wood must be clean and free from wood dust and contamination. The moisture content of windows and doors should be approx 13% and should not exceed 15%. Cladding moisture content should be approx 18%. Apply via brush, dipping or flow coating procedure, or manual or automated spraying. Please follow the instructions on the label.
The product is delivered ready for use. Stir the product well before use. Treated parts must always be protected with a topcoat treatment before they are exposed to the influence of the weather.
