Axalta Stokes Road Line Paint

Suitable for interior and exterior use
• When thoroughly dry, it is resistant to all weather conditions including frost and ice
• Unaffected by engine oil spillage and will not allow tar stains to bleed through

• Suitable for signwriting and line marking on all general road surfaces and car parks (tarmac or concrete), factories, warehouses etc.
• Can also be used for colour marking bitumen/felt covered pipes

Application

Preparation

All surfaces must be clean and free from grease, oil, laitance, dust and other contamination. The surface must be dry. Do not apply to damp surfaces or fresh concrete. Compatible with most tarmac surfaces, but due to the wide variety available, a small test area is recommended to confirm compatibility.

Mixing

Mix thoroughly before use. Agitate periodically during use to ensure product remains homogeneous.

Application

Only apply in conditions of good ventilation, which must be maintained during drying and curing. Do not apply when rain, mist, sleet or snow are imminent. During application and drying time of the paint coating, the surface should be dry, the Relative Humidity should not exceed 85% and the substrate temperature should remain at least 3oC above the dew point. Only apply this product when the above conditions can be maintained throughout the critical application and drying/curing process. Paint temperature should ideally be at a minimum of 15ºC. Designed for brush or roller application. If using rollers, test for resistance to Axalta TH002 Thinner before use.

On absorbent surfaces, thin the first coat up to 15% with Axalta TH002 Thinner, then apply a full, unthinned coat after the minimum overcoating time recommended. One full coat is usually sufficient over previously painted or compact surfaces. This is a low flash material – ensure ventilation is sufficient to keep solvent vapour levels below minimum explosive limit and observe low flash regulations.
